What is FM Approved?
FM approval, part of FM Global, is a global body of international accreditation and certification for property loss prevention products and services in the commercial and industrial sectors.
FM International was founded in 1886 in Johnston, Rhode Island, USA, by John R. Freeman. Over 134 years of establishment, FM is today the largest mutual insurance group in the world and also the highest standard product testing organization in the US. Up to now, FM is the only organization in the world that provides insurance for fire protection system related products by global insurance corporations.
Currently, more than a third of the Fortune Global 500 companies are FM customers, one of which includes Swiss conglomerate Airbus, Boeing, Intel, Fedex of the US and other companies and corporations.
The FM approved certification is not only based on the product itself, but also on the entire factory system. Through facility audits and evaluation of quality control procedures to ensure the plant is capable of consistently producing products according to FM Approved standards.

How did G-Flex achieve FM Approved?
The G-Flex series of products manufactured in Vietnam will be sent to the FM global inspection center in the US to evaluate the following standards:

Besides that, the G-Flex has undergone a series of other tests at FM approval such as mechanical strength, high temperature exposure, pressure fracture due to corrosion of stainless steel, elasticity, and vacuum tests,...
Not only the flexible hose, but all fittings and accessories, will be checked at the same time to ensure that the rigorous criteria of FM Approval are met before being certified.
